Toyoukehime is a goddess who controls food and grains. Izanami is her grandfather and Wakumusubi is her father. Toyoukehime was a celestial maiden who lived in heaven. Toyoukehime, who was a celestial maiden, flew down with eight celestial maidens to a pond in the central mountain of Tango Peninsula to bathe. An old couple named Wanasa, who was watching it, secretly hid the costume of a celestial maiden. The celestial maidens notice the "Wanasa" couple and hurry back to heaven, saying that they were seen by humans on earth. However, only Toyoukehime, whose clothes were hidden, was left behind in the human world. Toyoukehime became the daughter of an old couple and lived for 10 years at the behest of her old couple. Toyoukehime was good at brewing sake. She made sake that would cure another illness if I drank it, and I made fortune with a weaving machine, and my house quickly became wealthy. However, the rich old couple became arrogant and kicked out Toyoukehime. Toyoukehime was sad. After wandering around, she arrives at the village o "Funaki" (currently Funaki, Yasaka-cho, tango City). There, Toyoukehime finds a holy well. Toyoukehime said, "Let's comfort my heart here," and grew rice in clean water to make rice fields. People in this area called the area "Tanniwa", and the name changed to "Tamba". In this way, Toyoukehime became the goddess of the country of Tanba.
At one point, Sun Goddess Amaterasu told her sister Moon Goddess Tsukuyomi , "I'm sick and can't eat." She said, "I want you to call Toyoukehime, the god of food who lives in the well that has the mysterious power of water in Tanba Province." Tsukuyomi immediately headed to Tanba no Kuni. She welcomed Tsukuyomi, who came from the kingdom of God. Toyoukehime used a spell to produce her food, spit out a lot of food from her mouth and tried to give it to her Tsukuyomi. Watching it, Tsukuyomi cut off the angry Toyoukehime, saying, "Don't do dirty things!" Tsukuyomi has killed Toyoukehime, so Tsukuyomi has no choice but to return to heaven. Amaterasu gets angry at Tsukuyomi when he hears the story. She said she would no longer meet Tsukuyomi, and she sent Tsukuyomi to the land of the night (the land of the dead). In this way, Amaterasu and Tsukuyomi broke up and could no longer be together. For this reason, the sun and moon have come to appear in the sky at different times. After a while, Amaterasu orders his grandson "Ninigi" to descend to rule the earth. At that time, Amaterasu decided to revive Toyoukehime and enshrine it in the outer shrine of Ise Jingu, and built a shrine for Toyoukebime. If Toyoukebime appears in today's fortune-telling, your mind may be innocent. It may be used by the people around you, but you don't bother with it. You make the people around you happy. Toyoukebime says. The situation at that time may be painful, but if you have the will to do your best, you will surely be rewarded. Today, unexpected hardships and pains can happen to you. But by accepting it as it is and spending the day, you will surely be rewarded today.
