『楽鳥園』では、鳥の繁栄を助けるべく
希少で人気のある猛禽類の
繁殖研究に力を注いでいます。
また、ペットとしての猛禽類の自然繁殖、
人工繁殖によるハイブリッド種の
研究開発も手掛け、更に日本の伝統である
鷹狩りをスポーツとして
取り入れる活動にも取り組んでいます。
In "rakuchouen", we are studying the breeding of birds of prey to help the prosperity of birds.
We are also conducting research and development of hybrid species by natural and artificial breeding of birds of prey.
We are also engaged in activities to incorporate Japanese traditional falconry as a sport.

人馴れしているフクロウを育ててます。

親鳥が産んだ卵を孵卵器に入れて孵化させています。
そのヒナを専門スタッフが一羽一羽大切に育てることで、人間と鳥の間に親子のような信頼関係が生まれ、成長しても人に慣れた状態を保つことができるのです。
当園で繁殖したスペシャルインプリントのフクロウたちとの触れ合いがお楽しみいただけます。
Eggs laid by parent birds are placed in an incubator and hatched.
By carefully raising the chicks one by one by specialized staff, a relationship of trust like a parent and child is created between humans and birds, and even if they grow up, they can maintain a state of being accustomed to them.
